Automated Retrieval of Data Export Files

Using a script from NWEA, you can regularly retrieve an exported data file and place it in a location of your choice so that it is ready for import into other systems.

When you use automated retrieval, the data export feature continues to work in the normal way. For example:

• You continue to set up exports using the Data Export Scheduler.
• The MAP system exports files with the usual frequency (up to one time per day).
• Your script uses your MAP user name and password to log in to the MAP system and retrieve the file that you previously scheduled for export.
• Each user can schedule export of only one file type at a time.
