Completing the Test Window

When all planned MAP®Collapsed tests have been administered throughout the district, you must indicate the test window is complete before the system can generate District and Student Growth Summary reports. (Known as "declaring testing complete.") 

In addition, declaring testing complete triggers the calculation of district averages (the average RIT scores for subject and grade across the district).

Note: Reports that include a district average (such as the Student Progress Report) can be generated prior to testing being declared complete; however the district average field is empty.

Steps

To declare a test season complete:

  1. In the left navigation pane, select Modify Preferences > Manage Terms.
  2. Select the academic year for which you want to declare testing complete.

  3. Click View/Update Terms.
  4. Scroll to the term and select Test Window Complete.
  5. Scroll down and click Submit.
  6. Wait for the overnight process.
