Primary Grades Instructional Data

This instructional resource outlines the Primary Grades Instructional Data (PGID) for primary grade students who were administered Survey with Goals assessments.

Student test scores are translated into learning statements. Each statement describes a skill or concept measured by one or more test items in the MAP for Primary Grades Survey with Goals Reading and Math item pools; therefore, each statement can be associated with a specific RIT value.

Instructors can use the information in this resource to identify specific skills and concepts that a primary grade student is ready to learn. PGID provides a roadmap for determining where students are performing along a continuum of reading and math skills.

Primary Grades Instructional Data requires additional licensing for MAP for Primary Grades testing. For further details, contact your Partner Relations representative.

For information about each part of the Primary Grades Instructional Data learning statements, see the Primary Grades Instructional Data Guide.
