District Summary Report

This MAP report summarizes student performance at the school or district level for the selected and previous terms. From this report, you can:

Field Descriptions

Use the following required fields to order this report:

Term: Lists terms for which testing has been declared complete and in which the district has at least one associated growth test eventCollapsed. Defaults to the most recent term that has been declared complete.

Aggregation: Determines the level of data aggregation for the report. Administrators can only order reports that contain data for schools with which they are associated.

School: Lists schools in your district you can choose to include in the report. This option is only available with the Aggregation by School option.

Use the following options to format and display report results:

Optional Grouping: Organizes and calculates results by gender, ethnicity, or program. This grouping is coupled with the aggregation chosen in the options above.

Small Group Display: Overrides the report summary default and reports summary data for groups of fewer than ten students with growth test scores. Because summary data for small groups is not statistically reliable, it is typically not included in reports.

Ordering a District Summary Report

This report summarizes performance of students at the school or district level for the selected and previous terms. To create this report for a selected term:

Some information may not be displayed if Small Group Display is selected.

To order this report:

  1. On the MAP Reports landing page, click District Summary Report.
  2. On the District Summary page, select a term from the Term drop-down list.

    Note: Only terms for which testing has been declared complete are listed.

  3. If you are an Assessment Coordinator, select whether you want to aggregate the results in your report by school or district.

    If you select Aggregation By School, select schools you want to include in the report.

  4. Modify the format and display of the report in the Report Options section.
  5. Click Create Report.

    The District Summary Report page appears.

Note: You can print or save this report or you may access it later through the Reports Queue.
