Configuring Schools and School Names

To configure a school, you must be assigned one of the following roles in the MAP system:

• Assessment Coordinator
• System Administrator

1. Click Add School.
   

2. Type a custom name.

   The custom name field is limited to 65 alpha-numeric characters, and should match the name for that field in your student information system.
3. Click Submit.

1. Select the school name you want to edit.
2. Click Edit Name.

3. Type a new custom name for this school.

   The custom name field is limited to 65 alpha-numeric characters, and should match the name for that field in your student information system.
4. Click Submit.

Notes:

• Only active schools appear in MAP system reports.
• You can inactivate a school term only if no students are assigned to it.

1. Select the school you want to modify.
2. Click View/Update Terms.
3. Select the instructional term you want to make active or inactive for that school.

4. Click Edit School Term.

   The Modify District - Edit School Term page appears, displaying school term and test window details.

5. Check or clear the Active box to change the status of the selected school.

6. Click Submit.

Note: You can delete a school only if no students are assigned to it.

1. Select the school you want to delete.
2. Click Delete.

3. Click OK to confirm.
