Manage Terms

You can use the Manage Terms page to:

• Add an academic year
• Specify dates for the terms that combine to make up the academic year
• Specify dates for test windows within terms for the district
• Declare testing complete for the district
• Activate or inactivate a term

Required Roles

You must be assigned at least one of the following MAP system roles to modify preferences:

• System administrator
• Assessment coordinator

Field Descriptions

• Academic Year: School year, which usually spans multiple calendar years.
• Year Start Date: First day of the first term of the academic year. August 15th is the MAP system's standard start of the academic year and fall term.
• Year End Date: Last day of the last term of the academic year. August 14th is the MAP system's standard end of the academic year and summer term.
