Discuss Naming Preferences
It may seem minor, but your naming preferences will impact many areas, so it's best to set up the preferences early in your implementation. The naming preferences are:
- schools
- grades
- ethnic groups
- programs (like Title 1)
When setting preferences, match the naming conventions already in use within your student information system (SIS) and other systems. If names do not match exactly, errors will result when importing data into the MAP Suite.
