About Modifying Class Assignments

Class assignments in the MAP®Measures of Academic Progress® system are required for reporting student test results and for quickly starting a testing session. To assign classes, you add them to student and teacher profiles.

Most class assignments are made when you import roster data, but you can add, remove, or modify class assignments for teachers individually, and for students individually or in bulk.

Keep in mind the following:

• A class can be assigned to one, or several, teachers. Classes with more than one teacher are called "multi-instructor" classes.
• You can remove a class from a teacher profile only if no students are associated with it, or if multiple teachers are assigned to the class.
