Before you begin importing student and user data into the MAP® system, be sure to configure the system with any custom names that should appear on MAP reports. Custom names override the default names for your district, schools, grades, programs, and ethnic groups. These custom names appear on MAP reports and throughout the MAP user interface.
In addition, the MAP system includes a convenient way for users to contact MAP system managers within your district. Enter those names on the Help Contact page early in the setup process. For instructions, see Specifying Contact People Within Your District.
