Reconcile Errors - Grade Error

Use this page to help correct errors associated with the Grade Name element of the roster file data.

Tip: Before you reconcile this error, you may want to first export a list of errors, so that you can make corrections in your student information system or other data source. To export errors, click Return to Error Summary, and then click Export Errors. Note that the export list does not include errors after you have reconciled them.

Field Descriptions for Record to Import

Fields include:

Incoming Grade Name: Grade Name data element from the roster file.

Associated Student Records: Number of student records associated with the data element in the roster file.

Associated Instructor Records: Number of teacher records associated with the data element in the roster file.

Field Descriptions for Error Reconciliation

The following table lists available options for each error and what happens when you choose an option.

Grade Errors Available Options Consequences for Selected Option
Grade Name not found or inactive for the selected term.

Do not reconcile at this time.

Temporarily skips over the error so you can reconcile it later.

Contact your System Administrator or Assessment Coordinator and request adding, activating, or renaming the Grade name.

Afterward, return to the Reconcile Errors summary page and click Revalidate Group Errors to update the error list.

Replace incoming Grade Name with the following selection.

For the incoming records, the Grade Name is changed to the selected existing Grade Name.

Do not import incoming records that contain this Grade Name. Eliminates the incoming records from being imported.
