Reconcile Errors

Use this page to manage the reconciliation of errors in the data you are importing. After you reconcile errors, the records become valid and you can then post them to the MAP system. When all valid records are posted without errors, the Import Profiles process is complete.

As you reconcile, you click the link for each error category, such as Grade Errors or Student Errors. A subsequent page opens, showing the specific errors and giving you options for correction.

Field Descriptions

Group Errors: Errors resulting from a mismatch between Custom Name preferences set in the MAP system and data elements provided in the roster file or programs file. These errors affect School, Ethnic Group, Grade, and Program data elements of a record. All group errors must be reconciled before individual errors can be reconciled.

Individual Errors: Errors resulting from potential duplicate student or teacher profiles.

Errors Remaining: The count of errors that need to be reconciled before all valid records can be posted. This number updates as errors are reconciled and may also update when group errors are revalidated.

Errors Reconciled: The count of errors that have been reconciled in the current import process. This number updates as errors are reconciled and potentially when group errors are revalidated.
