User Profile - Add/Update Term

Use this page to add or update term, school, and class information in a user profile that has the instructor role. The instructor can view MAP reports for all classes assigned for the specified term.

From this page, you can:

• Find classes already created to assign to an instructor
• Edit the name of an existing class
• View a list of students in a class
• Create a new class in the MAP system to assign to an instructor
• Remove a class from the MAP system

Field Description for Term

Term: Instructional term for which the instructor actively teaches classes. School and class selections on this page apply to this term only.

Button for Schools

Add School: Click to add a school to the user profile. A school search page appears, where you can search for the desired school and add it. (See User Profile - Add School.)

Field Description for Schools

If schools have already been added to the user profile, the page includes this field:

School: Schools assigned to the instructor. Class selections on this page are limited to classes from the schools listed here.

Buttons for Classes

Edit Class Name: Click to change the name of the selected class. An Edit Class Name page appears where you can make the desired change. See User Profile - Edit Class Name.

Delete Class: Click to remove the selected class from the user profile.

Create New Class: Click to define a new class and add it to the user profile. A Create Class page appears, where you can specify the school where the class is taught and type the name of the new class. (See User Profile - Create Class .)

Find Existing Classes: Click to find previously created classes to add to this user profile. A search page appears where you can select the school and specify search criteria for the classes and/or current instructor. (See User Profile - Find Existing Classes.)

Field Descriptions for Classes

If classes have already been added to the user profile, the fields for each class include:

Class: Class the instructor teaches. The instructor can view MAP reports for the entire class and for each student in the class.

Note: Multiple-instructor classes are assigned to multiple instructors and are indicated by the letters MI on the page. Each instructor assigned to a class has full access to the reports for the class and its students.

School: School at which the class is located.
