A user profile is a collection of information that identifies a MAP® user and gives the user access to the MAP system.
User profiles require at least one role to specify the user's MAP system permissions. See User Roles and Permissions.
You can create a user profile with one or more of these roles:
To create a user profile that includes the Administrator or Instructor role (which requires additional steps), see:
Note: You can create a profile only for users with the same or lower permissions than your own.
To create a user profile:
(Recommended) Search to make sure the profile doesn't already exist.

Enter the requested information under All Roles.

The MAP system displays a message confirming that it created the new user profile. If you specified an e-mail address for this user, the system automatically sends a user name and temporary password to that address.
If you did not specify an e-mail address for this user, the screen displays the user name and temporary password.
